Jovan Mitchell is a Business Strategy Consultant and Manager of Healthcare Data Analytics with M&W, a change management consulting firm specializing in process improvement and market research, and Pharmspective, a Healthcare Technology company that provides transparency and clarity in the era of expansion of data and information within the complex healthcare landscape. On cloud-based mobile platforms, they quickly provide valuable Market Access insights to pharmaceutical manufacturers, insurers, and public health organizations.
Ms. Mitchell is responsible for defining, designing, and developing product content. By sourcing, synthesizing, simplifying, and analyzing Big Data, she serves to inform and enhance client decision-making in areas concerning access and reimbursement, product commercialization, market planning, and sales force allocation. She is a US Managed Markets and Healthcare policy expert and regularly creates and updates e-learning modules that facilitate training and ensure healthcare industry knowledge across all levels of an organization. Jovan leads cross-functional teams at executing initiatives across the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include researching, planning, and leading transformation projects from initiation to implementation, including project setup, staffing, budget, managing project scope, schedule, status, risks, and issues identification and mitigation. Her professional experiences embody qualitative and quantitative research and analysis and strategy development. Prior to her positions at M&W and Pharmspective, Ms. Mitchell served as a Senior Analyst with Insight Strategy Advisors. Her experience includes work in product commercialization, competitive assessments, and launch strategy for both US and global (BRICT) markets where she extensively and regularly used IMS, Wolters Kluwer, and National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) data. She also served as a Greater New York Hospital Association Administrative Resident within Nursing Administration where she trained in Lean and A3 thinking assisted in developing a new team-based patient care delivery model and implemented hard and soft cost containment initiatives that resulted in organizational savings. Jovan has demonstrated success in business analysis, business process modeling, project management, and strategy development.
Ms. Mitchell holds a Masters of Public Health, with a focus in Health Policy and Management, from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Howard University.
